About Us
First Chair is the first organization designed to bring together a community of accomplished attorneys in private practice with their talented in-house peers in order to recognize achievement. There are several reputable organizations that acknowledge the accomplishments of attorneys in private practice. There are also corporate counsel associations that evaluate in-house counsel performance. First Chair is the only organization structured to unite these two communities through the common goals of networking and recognizing the accomplishments of the best and brightest in the legal profession.
First Chair accomplishes these objectives by hosting innovative networking events that support career development and by recognizing in-house counsel who have been nominated by esteemed members of the private practice community at an annual gala awards dinner.
